Alternative Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes between attorneys and their clients, the parties may, upon request, seek out-of-court dispute resolution through the bar association with jurisdiction over the attorney in question (pursuant to § 73(2)(3) and (5) of the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO)).

The attorneys at the law firm Hugendubel.legal are authorized to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before the Bar Association’s Mediation Office, Rauchstraße 26, 10787 Berlin, www.s-d-r.org.

The European Commission also points out that the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform could only be used until July 19, 2025. New complaints are not possible. The European Commission now refers to list of tools for resolving consumer disputes.

Note

If you have any consumer rights issues, you can also visit the “Your Europe” website . If, according to the European Commission, you wish to challenge an unjustified restriction of your content or account by an online platform provider, you can contact an out-of-court dispute resolution body certified under Article 21 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). The European Commission publishes a list of these bodies on its website.
